This notice targets international families that are preparing to enroll their child in a Japanese elementary school, offering information that families should know before enrollment. You will find useful advice in relation to: ‘contacting the elementary school,’ ‘matters for consideration regarding your child’s future,’ ‘the language to use at home,’ etc., all accessible by reading the QR-code on the right (scan with a smartphone). ◎ ～A Career Path Seminar to Support Children (and Guardians) with Foreign Roots～
◎Target: Junior high school/high school students with foreign roots, and their parents
◎Contents: Come and listen to the thoughts of your seniors (students with similar backgrounds)!
◎Time: 10:30 to 12:00
The seminar will be held on Sunday, March 13th, with a deadline of Friday, March 4th, for those who wish to apply. The sooner you submit your application, the better.

◎ ～News from Aichi Prefectural Police about Changing Foreign Driver’s Licenses～
From Tuesday, March 1, 2022 onwards, applications to change your foreign driver’s license to a Japanese one, will need advance booking, from the Driver’s License Examination Center’s website, e.g.: starting from Tuesday, February 1, 2022. You will need to select the location where you want to submit your application (Hirabari / Higashi-Mikawa), application date, etc., and share the necessary information when you apply (it is advisable to have someone who can read Japanese to assist you).
