Overview

The Toyota International Association, the predecessor organization to the TIA Activities Center, was established on October 1, 1988. Based on the philosophy that “citizens are the main actors in internationalization,” it has developed a wide range of activities, to promote mutual
understanding and friendship with other countries, and regional exchange activities.

Going forward, we will strive to create a vibrant and enriching cultural city, where citizen-led activities become even more active, and where a broader and more diverse group of people can coexist.
